Instruction
Our
club pro, "Biff" Strong, has been playing clay court tennis for over 50 years.
He has endured many tennis lessons and clinics, including a month at the Don Budge
Tennis Camp in 1965. He now wants to share his love of the game by teaching others,
especially young people.
Biff offers both
private and group lessons and donates all proceeds back to the club.
The cost of a one-hour private lesson for one or two people is $50.
Groups of 3 or more may take a 90-minute lesson for $25 per person.
Club members receive a 20% discount on all lessons.
This past summer the club
offered Quick Start Tennis clinics for children ages 5-12. QST is a new
program developed by the USTA to make learning tennis more fun for
young people. It uses special "child-size" racquets and courts and
large nerf-like foam balls.
If you are interested in lessons
or Quick Start, please call Biff at 233-5338.
